Thrill of Victory for Huffines Subaru Denton

Evgeni Plushenko’s Olympics are over. Unfortunately, his competitive career is too. The Russian star retired Thursday just after he withdrew from the men's figure skating event at the Sochi Olympics for medical reasons.

The 31-year-old Plushenko is the only modern-era figure skater to win medals in four Olympics. He helped Russia win the team gold over the weekend.

Although he did not complete his Olympic long and short programs, he left the winter games, and the sport victorious.
Victory is what Huffines Subaru Denton experiences.  They are victorious in the industry for focusing on their founding principle of treating customers in a respectful and professional manner, as well as the principle of supporting the local community.

It appears that Huffines Subaru Denton and Plushenko both handle themselves with the grace and virtues of true winners.  They both put others before themselves to ensure a lifetime of respect and accolades from the competitive arena in which they both participate.

The Huffines Auto Dealerships have been satisfying customers and forming lifetime friendships for over 90 years. They have been honored as the Auto Dealership Group of the Year, by the Consumers Choice Award for Business Excellence for the last five years. Their customers tell them they are a great place to do business. In 2011 and 2012, The Dallas Morning News awarded them the honor of the Top 100 Places to work in DFW. Their team members tell them they are a great place to work.

The History of Subarus

The Subaru has been one of the most popular cars on the market, especially since the 1990’s. Fuji Heavy Industries built the first Subaru in 1954, the Subaru 1500. 20 of these were built that year with rigorous private testing done with a few taxi drivers and the initial feedback was outstanding.

Fuji continued to produce Subaru’s and got a major breakthrough with the first import into America in 1968. The Subaru 360 was small, but Americans could see the potential in the brand and continued to import the vehicles.

1974 Japan produced the first 4x4 Subaru, with only a pull of the handle making the vehicle switch to 4x4. The US Ski Team then chose the Subaru as the car of choice in 1976 which prompted Subaru to rise to the 5th most imported car in 1977.
In 1993, 25 years after the first import bought the Impreza to the market. The Impreza continued to be improved upon each year as more varieties were introduced.

Fast forwarding to 2009, Subaru have four main versions, the Impreza, Outback, Forester and Legacy. These have continually evolved and in 2012 there were 336,441 Subaru’s sold in the USA, with the Outback back the most sold with 117,000.

The Subaru continues to impress the American market. With 630 dealers across the states that trend is set to continue. In a testimony to how sturdy the Subaru is, over 90% of all-wheel-drive Subaru’s sold in the last 10 years are still on the road today.

At Huffines Subaru Denton, we believe you should expect a hassle free experience during the car shopping process. We take pride in serving our greater McKinney, Dallas and Plano customers to the highest level possible.

The Motor Trend SUV of the Year: Subaru Forester

Subaru has a knack for making the right size vehicles for the marketplace, with the perfect amount of capability that people want.  As the SUV landscape has changed and the traditional body-on-frame SUVs have been overtaken by Sports and Crossover unibody vehicles, Subaru has changed with it.

The unibody crossovers designed by Subaru resonate with the consumers.  The company’s Forester and Outback hit home year after year with they’re honest and smart design.  The redesigned 2014 Subaru Forester has better efficiency, added power, and increased cargo volume.  The new Forester provides a comfortable ride with a roomy interior and its off-road capability is loved by the sport/utility buyers and offers a great deal of value while still being fun to drive.
The experts had nothing but good things to say about the Subaru Forester and Motor Trend named it the 2014 SUV of the Year, which propels Subaru as the only company to be a three-time winner of the coveted award.

But don’t just take our word for it, come see why the Forester and Subaru is deserving of the Motor Trend SUV of the Year hat trick for yourself by test driving this amazing vehicle at Huffines Subaru Denton.  Visit our showroom at 5150 South Interstate 35 E in Denton, Texas or give us a call at 940-321-2504 today!
