The test Outback Touring model averaged 24 mpg on mostly on city streets for a noteworthy travel range of more than 440 miles on an 18.5-gallon tank.

Edmunds.com releases a “Best Used Cars” list each year informing consumers on what vehicle in the used car market is the top performer in each category.
